Job Description

This is a remote position.

We’re looking for a passionate Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain software solutions. Ideally, the candidate should be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. Software engineers must be skilled in development, writing code, and documenting functionality.

1. Executing full life-cycle software development
2. Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code
3. Producing specifications and determining operational feasibility
4. Integrating software components into fully functional software systems
5. Developing software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
6. Documenting and maintaining software functionality
7. Tailoring and deploying software tools, processes and metrics
8. Serving as a subject matter expert
9. Complying with project plans and industry standards

Requirements

1. Proven work experience as a computer software engineer or software developer
2. Hands-on experience in designing interactive applications
3. Ability to develop software in React and NextJS.
4. Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, PostgreSQL and Supabase
5. Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework
6. Experience with test-driven development
7. Mastery in software engineering tools
8. Ability to document requirements and specifications
9. Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
10. A degree in Computer Science or Engineering
